Adobe Creative Suite 3, Adobe Creative Suite 4, Adobe Flex Builder, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe PatchPanel, Adobe Photoshop, ExtendScript' Add commentsAdobe PatchPanel, the two Flex libraries for creating Flash Plug-ins that automate and extend the capabilities of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign CS3 + CS4 applications, is now live on Adobe Labs! [If you prefer to automate and extend these CS applications from your own Adobe AIR application, refer to the Flex libraries called Adobe SwitchBoard.] PatchPanel enables Flex developers the ability to access the ExtendScript DOM of PS, AI or ID through ActionScript objects. What does this really mean? Code completion, hinting, etc. for ExtendScripts is all available through Flex Builder. It’s a dream come true for ExtendScript developers.
